Traditional yoga is a stretching exercise system not generally known for working up much of a sweat. But, Power Flow Yoga is a newer, more vigorous style of yoga in which the room is heated up to 95 degrees and reportedly yields extra health benefits. So, along with that yoga mat, don’t forget to bring a yoga towel!
Power Flow Yoga raises body temperature and promotes the flow of toxins in the body, which are eliminated by excretion, rather than secretion.
Since Power Flow Yoga is more vigorous and strenuous, muscle resistance and growth is more greatly promoted.
Increases Bone Strength
More aerobic type exercise increases red blood cell growth, thereby strengthening bone marrow and density.
Improves Lung Capacity
Simple. You exercise harder, you breathe deeper, giving the lungs a good workout.
Lowers High Blood Pressure
All exercise lowers blood pressure, but researchers agree more and more that vigorous exercise, like Power Flow Yoga, may be evn more effective.
The harder you work out, the more likely you strengthen back muscles. Thus, better posture!
Because of higher heat in the room, muscles tend to limber up more quickly, leading to increased flexibility. Just make sure there’s a longer cool down period afterwards.
Improves Digestive Disorders
Flexing the abdominal region helps digestive organs line up more naturally, leading to improved digestive flow.
After working up a good sweat, Power Flow Yoga leaves less energy to get all worked up about the little things. In other words, don’t sweat the small stuff…
Helps You Sleep Better
Vigorous exercise of any kind will get you ready for a nap or a good night’s sleep. Just make sure you get home first…
